Faith Hope and Love and Contact

Welcome to make contact here.  Faith, Hope, and Love are found in Christ and help us connect.

I find each denomination has insight that is valuable.

Agreement on the main things, and diversity on many other things makes the Christian life dynamic. There is so much change and diversity in among the faithful.

faith hope and loveHowever, Faith, Hope, and Love are points of agreement cross denominationally. These three words give me so much direction.

Faith is the base for my writing here.  I believe it must be foremost. Love comes from faith in that which is true. God’s Love is more than we can grasp. God has more for us than we can ever receive on earth, but the little we can receive gives us attractive communities.

My wife came to faith by seeing something special in the community of faith at her college, and it ultimately led her to faith in God.

How is it that, occasionally, Christian community can rise to this level?

I think it is because of God’s love among us and shared values as members of a forgiven community.

Further, when we sinners fall short, we all need hope of a future that will not disappoint us. So we need hope, Really need hope in a fallen world.

Faith, Hope, and Love Carry Us So Far

So God gave us something precious. He did not give us orders to pray with certain words facing a certain way 5 times a day. He gave us an invitation to a life with him filled with faith, hope, and love.

These three items distinctly cannot be measured. When Jesus talked about washing the inside of the cup, he certainly meant unseen things could not be left out.

Faith, Hope and Love are amazing gifts from a loving God. Just what we needed.

Praise be the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Amen
