Can We Believe We Are Children of the King?

Jim May 7, 2022 About Me, Church Work, Theology

children of the kingIn China where I live, if you are a child of a top political leader, you have the world at your feet. Some might wish that they were some official’s son or daughter. The Bible says those who believe become children of the King of the Heavens and Earth. That is a lot bigger than earthly political power.

That is why the Bible says we can be joyful always. God is in charge and says we need not worry. Why not? Because he is in charge and loves us.

Jesus says just believe, and that is enough.

29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Just like children of high officials only need to believe they are powerful, so are we.

So, Jesus loves us and told us to just believe. Therefore,  let’s smile, we are children of the King.

Jesus was not just blowing wind when he told us not to worry and to just believe.

One our biggest problems in this life is failure to believe. We say we believe in God Almighty, but when trouble or good times comes, we forget.  Suddenly, we make ourselves orphans.  We lose sight of Faith Hope and Love.

Can We See We Are Children of the King?

Let’s not be orphans. Having written this, I turned on Christian music.  “I worship you. You are way maker… Even when I don’t see you workin’ .. You never stop…that is who You are”

On the page this sometimes can be a little dead. That does not mean God is gone. Thank you God for music and friends who can speak truth to us. Let us seek light to help us live in faith. It is not easy. Our sinful self is always dragging us down. God lives to lift us up. Hallelujah! We are not orphans. We have a way in Christ. God Almighty is with us and never yet left us alone. May we know when alone that we left Him, and he is waiting for us to come back.

God be praised. We never have to be alone. We are never farther than looking up to being with our Father.  God help us look up more.
