Revelation is Precious and Inflection Points Critical

seek revelation and inflection point
In different areas, we all need change. God help us hear You

My parents and siblings went to church and could not find God.  However, I did find God. Hearing the Word often does not sink in. We are like the path where the seed cannot take root at all. Revelation is precious.

We need revelation. We need teachability.

In Celebrate Recovery, I learned that we are all in denial. So a key to a life of faith is to try to see and admit where we are in denial.

Once I could say, “I am addicted to Yahoo News,” I started to face it for what is was and get better.

Revelation is Precious – Let’s Seek It

Faith is the gift of God. We each should yearn for and plead with God for revelation. We live in our own darkness until God’s light breaks through. Then, at that inflection point, life can start to change. Without continuing revelation, our hearts grow stale and old. Further, without revelation we get lost.

Faith is like:

YES (when we first believe) ,then  yes, yes, not yet, yes yes, maybe, yes, yes, maybe, yes, yes, yes.   Quite a few sorries likely in there.

Earlier, I mentioned how my life started to change when I saw the girl I was dating was treating me coldly, and used that feeling to see if I was failing God. That changed my life.

Let me tell you one other thing about that. Once I had that revelation, I immediately told a young Christian guy I knew. 10 days later he asked me what I had done with that. I said, “O, I forgot.” He said, “What! God gave you that big a message, and you just forgot!!” I did not forget again and made true use. It is reminder to me how just revelation is not enough. As people, we squander even great revelation. We need to tell people who will hold us accountable.  We need to consider our weakness and get what we need, so we do not waste God’s effort.

I also previously mentioned that the counselor crying out, “Can’t you see how you are hurting her!” moved me. It proved to be an inflection point. Let’s seek out revelation and let it carry us till we can clarify the inflection point. Get as much accountability as you can, and thank them for reminding you.

Crave change, Seek revelation, grab revelation. Revelation is precious.
