God Has a Dream For Our Lives

God has a dream for our lives, as He knows completely what is best for us. I am not saying that the key to the Christian life is searching for the one way God has for us. I am saying that we ought to follow His lead. Let me unpack this.
God, within the pages of the Bible, gives a picture of the things that make him happy. The Beatitudes and the Sermon on the Mount come to mind. Thankfulness and the fruit of the Spirit come to mind.
God did not say a lot about things like how often we should read the Bible or even command us to be baptized.
He, further, gives each of us our gender and personality as a gift to ourselves. Some of us may rebel against this gift, but God had an intent when He gave us these things. He has a dream for us. He wants us to be happy now and forever.
In this fallen world, God is with the oppressed and redeems what has is harmed. He is big enough to handle that.
God Has a Dream For Our Lives As He Loves Us
Now, when Paul and Silas are in prison after getting beaten, they sing songs of praise to God. We can be happy when we are right where God wants us. Even though the world may think we are crazy, we can revel in the life God has for us. God does not say we cannot be mad at him. He can clearly take it, and accepts that in us.
God knows us better then we know ourselves. Again and again God has worked to help me see who I am and who I can be.
Are we open to hear God? I have mentioned that we are subjective when we read the Bible or hear God at all. Therefore, I am not saying that this is entirely a private matter. We need to be in fellowship and hearing other Christians. God even uses non Christians to teach us. Are we listening?
The Kingdom of God wants what we have. Can we give it to God in thanks and see what He wants with it? He knows what is best for us. We are deceived when we think we know better. We at best are small children before God.
