Its About Faith

I know the Apostle Paul said love is preeminent, and I do not deny that. It saved and saves me. However, God’s abundant love can only be seen through the eyes of faith. Faith gets everything moving. Faith is what God looks for in lost humanity. For Him its about faith growing in us.
Hebrews 11:6 says:
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Romans 1 says the base problem with man is thanklessness:
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
How can we thank God if we have no faith in Him?
God always loves us. However, we refuse it due to our lack of faith to receive it.
The Apostle Paul prayed that Ephesians–
18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
Interestingly, we never see Paul praying for Aunt May’s ulcer though we can, but he does pray for power to grasp God’s great love. This will get us to pray and do yet more for Aunt May. Faith is the motor.
Its About Faith That We Can Do All Things
Faith is the answer to all our troubles and gaps. We receive so much through faith. Love beyond our ability to understand exists all around us. We receive it when we can just believe.
Because of tariffs and the great instability in tariffs, I felt hurt and that my business would fail. I could not pray about it. I felt hopeless. I slowly knew I was wrong but could not pray. I watched a meaningless yet inspirational movie and suddenly had the power to cry out to God for my little business.
God saw I was stuck and reached my stuck heart, so that I could finally pray with my whole heart about this thing that seemed bigger than God to me. As soon as I prayed, customers started to show up right and left. I give this little company’s life or death to God, but he responded to my prayers in this way. Our outreach here is hard work, but we see hope in it. We have trouble praying for this, but God will move me to encourage wife, and she will make a good prayer list, and we keep going. If our faith was greater, how much more we would pray.
We lay flat in God’s hands. We cannot even pray and he gives us strength that we might pray. We rely on him all the way around.
